AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
The Project
The goal of this project was to create a poster raising awareness about a specific subject.
For this project, I designed a poster to raise awareness about the dangers of excessive smartphone use. To grab the viewer's attention, I used a familiar symbol of addiction and danger: cigarettes. I combined a cigarette pack with a smartphone, displaying a warning message that mimics those found on addictive products, stating that "the use of this device can be addictive."
To reinforce the message, I included two key statements. The bold headline, "Swipe Less, Live More," encourages people to be more present in the real world rather than constantly looking at their screens. The second statement, "Digital addiction can trigger the same brain areas as drug addiction," is based on research and serves as a powerful reminder of the serious impact smartphone overuse can have on our brains.
This project was created using Photoshop and Illustrator.
